About us
EDMVedder is run by Michael Vedder. A master carpenter and interior designer with over 20 years experience in this field. Initially he worked for several Dutch yacht builders designing and installing interiors in modern sail and motor yachts as well the accommodation areas in small commercial ships. In 1999 he began his own company and soon was approached to build the interior of Eleonora, a 42 metre gaff schooner replica of the legendary Herreshoff schooner Westward. Since then a series of impressive yacht interiors all over Europe were completed by him. Sailing yachts Eleonora, Doriana, Atlantic and motoryacht Drenec.
Over the years Michael has built up a team of experienced craftsmen who under his guidance can cater for the most complicated constructions imaginable both in wood as well as in more modern materials such as composites.
Although specialising in classic yacht interiors EDMVedder can just as easily build interiors for houses, offices as well exterior structures.
